Approve your team’s requests

Purpose
Decide on leave and other requests from your team.
Who can do it
Managers (the Manager role).
Before you start

      Your Home shows waiting requests with Approve and Reject. 1

      Or open Approvals, click Show details, then Approve or Reject with a reason. You only see requests you can decide; a request that is waiting on another person shows who. 1

      Going away? Open Delegations and hand your approvals to a colleague for the dates. Requests already waiting move with the delegation, and End now returns them to you.

Review your team’s performance

CurrentPerformance
Purpose
Write manager reviews and hold check-ins.
Who can do it
Managers.
Before you start
A published performance cycle that includes your team.

      Performance → Manager Reviews lists the reviews you owe.

      Open a review, rate each competency and write feedback of at least 10 characters, then submit. A submitted review cannot be edited; the employee is told.

      Performance → Check-ins records one-to-ones with notes and action items.

      Open Probation reviews to recommend whether people on probation are confirmed, extended or ended.

Submitted reviews go to HR for calibration, and you see HR’s probation decision on the review.
